I'm sort of at a loss. I have 5 fish in my tank; 1-rope fish about 8 inches long and 4 panda garra on an average of 1.5 inches.

I have not seen one of the pandas for about 4 days. First reaction was that the rope got one but I have often watched them interact and have seen the rope swim right next to a panda and they just ignore each other. The Pandas are really a bit larger than the rope would see as food.

The three Pandas I am currently seeing are not around as much as they were a few days ago. They still come out and flit about but not as much as they did. They seem to be spending more time in the cave system in my tank. I sort of wonder if there could be fry in the future. The pandas that do spend time in the open seem to congregate around one cave opening. :dunno:

I think Panda garras eat their own eggs and the eggs should be protected against the parents.

Missing Panda Garra seems to be back. No idea where it was for the last ~5 days but it is back now. Mayhaps it was playing hooky from 'school'... :dunno: (school pun intended ;) )

So anyone have any idea as to went down here? I mean for at least 5 days the Panda was just gone without a sign. Then all of a sudden it is back and active like nothing ever happened. :dunno:
