losing fish everyday need help

im losing at least 1 fish everday and i think i have an incompatible fish because my waters fine
4 neons
2 african butterflys
5 tiger barbs
1 angel fish
3 loaches
4 black widows
2 guppies
3 blue barbs in pic
please help

What size tank do you have? How long has it been running? What filter? Was it fully cycled?

The tiger barbs are probably nipping at the angel, they will most likely nip at any fins that are long or flowy. They may also be nipping at your guppie's tails as well.

What kind of loaches are they?

If you tell us what kind of fish are dying we might have a better idea of the problem. If it is all diferent kinds or all the same might make a difference.

my nitrite and ammonia levels are perfect i have a 20 gallon tank ,,i think it might be overcorwded but i dont no how many fish you are suppose to have in a tank.....a couple of neons have dies 2 babs 3 angel fish 2 guppies...thanx

Well you're way overstocked, now and before. 55 fish in a 20 gallon is a lot. 39 is still a lot.

that list you posted-those are the fish you've lost so far? What exactly is left?

Is it a 20 gal if so yes to many fish, and your water quality won't be good as the filter won't be coping.

The standard for stocking a tank is:

1 inch of fish = 1 gallon of water

If you still have some of the same type of fish that are in your list, in the tank, there are some incompatibilities there. Angelfish will eat neons if the angels are big enough. Tiger barbs (not sure about blue barbs) can be aggressive and nip any flowing fins, including the angels and guppies. Guppies these days seem to be more sensitive, and overcrowding might cause a problem. Also, what type of loaches do you have? Some get way too big for a 20 gallon tank.

The general rule of thumb is 1" of fish (adult length) per gallon of water and angelfish should have a minimum of a 30 gallon tank.

another neon just dies,,,,,,but i dont think the angel fish are eating them because they were living together for 2 month fine but i kept getting 6 fish every week until 2 weeks ago i put 6 more in then the next morning 2 fish were dead and its been 2 fish on average dying every day
