Looking To Change

hi guys im looking to chnge stock in my 5ft tank,
i already have a male red spotted sev which is about 6inchs and he is awesome!!!

also have rams and rainbows in there and a snowball plec.
my question is what can i add looking to add something like the sev with alot of colour and quite big.

what do you guys think??

Jack Dempsey's have lots of color and get huge.

Any larger fish that you add to your established sev's tank is going to have the problem of being acceptable to the Sev. However, if it is aggressive enough to hold it's own, then there is every chance that it might bully the sev in time. It's a fine balance.

How about a few angels, or even one big angel. They often get on fine with sevs, and obviously are a very different shape to a sev .... therefore potentially not being as threatening territorially-wise. Also, even very large angels are unlikely to bully a Sev.

Another option is to get another Sev.
