Hello im looking for a tank for a betta, I have looked on ebay and on a few sites but they all seem to be in America, I have seen one in Wilkinsons that i might get but just wanna see wht else i could get, Also was talking to some one before and they said they havent got a heater or filter in there tank :/!.

Karen.

Try www.ebay.co.uk instead of www.ebay.com, or try your Advetiser Paper. Where abouts in the UK do you live?

Thanks

Not sure if you can get these in the UK, but I love mine.

I did alter it a bit though, I took out the night light bulb in there, and replaced it with a compact fluorescent, chandalier builb from Ikea. I had to force the bulb in though. It provides much better light.

I have several of these tanks that are pictured in the last posting, they are fantastic. They also contain a biowheel. And it is super easy to cut the current down, I have a fave method.

Cheap too! No heater required the bulb keeps it close to 82 during the day.

What's your method? I bought this sponge filter thing and slipped it over the intake tube on mine... that cuts down the current for me.

I have also done that in one of my male tanks. I have a boy who likes to stick himself to the intake when he is lazy, where his lovely hm tail is be drawn in and ripped to pieces. :-(

I actually meant surface current...for the outflow I use a part of a drinking straw and a piece of aquaclear filter sponge. Will try to post a pic later.:) Great tanks.
