Check out the Boston Aquarium Society. According to their website they were "Founded in 1916, The Boston Aquarium Society is the longest, continuously running, and the 2nd oldest aquarium club in the world today."

Thank you Amberleaf. A link would be good. We don't yet have a section for Canadian clubs, but I'll add it to my favorites list and be sure it gets listed when we do. In the meanwhile, please feel free to post about your clubs meetings and activities and tell the members that they are welcome here at TFF.

If you are in the Salt Lake City area there is the Great Salt Lake Aquarium Society. That city also has a club that specializes in planted tanks and one for marinefishkeepers.

The big US organization for B. splendens and all kinds of bettas is the International Betta Congress. If you go to the main site and click on the tab for Chapters > Domestic Chapters, you will find links to more local organizations.

I'm not sure if there is a specialty organization for other anabantoids but perhaps our other members will supply us with information about one.

I don't see any general club anywhere near you but I see you like bettas. The closest I can even come to you for that is AstralBetta Society in Hartford CT. I've also found the Central NY Betta Club club in NY but don't see much information about it.

I'll keep an eye out for one closer to you and let you know if I find anything. If you find anything in your general area, please let me know.
