Looking for a betta breeder in Southern CA

I've tried very hard to find a femail CT but i don't have any luck with it. I was wondering if there was anybody here on the forums who breeds CT bettas, but who lives around Southern CA, i'm interested in buying a pair

What county are you in? I live about 45 mins. north of LA and we have an LFS here that carries CTs. They aren't show quality if that's what you're looking for.

Hmmm...i'm not sure...i dont really trust the internet that much. I'm in Southern California. I have a lfs who carries crowns too, but i'm looking for a pair so i can breed them. I have 2 CT males...but i can't seem to find a CT female. I've also read in different places about the pictures they're showing you isn't exactly the fish you're getting, or something like the fish that are selling have passed their breeding period?

Its ok love, I am in the same place as you are and also live in souther california, and want to breed but cant find any breeders around. Only thing i am doing is talking to people on forums and internet to get a good betta breed.

So have you actually ordered bettas online? How'd it go?

Sorry, I haven't had any luck finding female crowntails. I do however know of LFS that carry Crownies Males, Double tail Females and Plakat Males. I am in the Orange County part of Cali, I am always in Orange County, Inland Empire, Riverside County, and Southern LA county looking out for new bettas. If I find anything ill let you guys know. But ya, I hold down the betta info in those countys and Ry has the info on bettas in her county a little up northern LA in Cali. We are here to help our Cali people.

Thanks keep me posted and email or pm me if you have any news at all. And I havent ordered from the internet although I am tempted to try aquabid or a breeders website although I have to wait for my paycheck and i want to buy at least 1 more 10 tank set up before i buy any more bettas for breeding and room purposes. Haha MTS in my 1 bedroom. Have to start taking over the house.
