Well, I did a 100% water change today and added some aquarium salt and... POOF! We have flaring, and he's much more active!
There are some small holes in his anal fin, I'm not sure if I should treat him with anything else other than the salt? But he seems to be doing a WHOLE lot better, even though he still hasn't eaten. I did go get bloodworms tonight, he wasn't interested. :(

Here's the BEFORE picture:

I'm so happy he's doing better, thanks for all your help guys! Hopefully he'll start eating soon!

those pin hoels are just something bettas get after they have been sick for a time or the water quality is bad, they should hela quickly. im glad hes much better, he looks happy :D

He wasn't intersted in frozen bloodworms?

I know this is a silly question, but I'll ask it anyways..you thawed them in a seperate cup before adding some didn't you?

I always put mine in a bare bottom tank and try feeding them...when they are confined close to them..they cant help but eat them lol..to tempting lol.

I read holes in the fins can be one of the first signs of fin rot setting in here: http://www.mushi.petfish.net/finrot.html . Did he always have that red on the ends of his fins? It kind of looks like the ends of his fins are agitated. Maybe daily water changes and aquarium salt would help him out. I'm doing that for Draco because one of his fins looked a little suspicious for some early rot onset on the very tip.

Yeah, I posted about that before. That's why I did the water change and the aquarium salt, because I thought it may be the first signs of fin rot. But I seem to have nipped it in the butt! :)

Woops, sorry I missed your post Kara :*)

He certainly looks MUCH better now than he did. I sure hope he will start to eat for you soon.
