Well, I found an awesome home for all 5 of Synirr's babies at the auction/meeting ~ one lady adored them and took them all! I know they have a great home, but it was sooo hard to let them go!!! I sold 2 of my free blue Marble girls in the auction, they were pretty hot 
... however, I had to keep the melano DT and the original marble girl and Pinky, because I lurve them too much 
! That, and they'll look awesome in a little 12g community!
Of course, I could not go home empty-handed after rehoming 7 babies! I wasn't too interested in any of the Bettas in the auction, until I saw these two *adorable* blue sisters in a cup - together. They were totally aloof of each other and in great condition. Their owner said they had been kept together since they were babies, and they'd become depressed if seperated. OF COURSE I bought them! And they only cost $3, since they're not in their spawning prime and will just be pets for my community
Meet Bermuda & Jamaica (er, I think that'll be their names)...
before you guys start bashing me, I would *never* do this unless I knew they'd get along. I had them seperated the first night, and they had permenant stress lines and they were pale and lifeless. Now, they're SUPER happy hanging out in Maui's 4-5g... I made sure one side was decked out with Java Ferns and moss, really thick so they can get away from one another if need be. I've seen absolutely no aggression, though. They often sit right next to each other.

they got sooo excited when they first saw their new neighbor, Maui.. they have lots of eggs now!

Oh, and I also got an adorable spotted Cory for free... he'll be hanging out in the fry tank soon doing clean-up duties!
I luff him, I named him Spot, because I'm original like that. I know they should be in shoals of 4+, the lady I bought him from says he has always been with Bettas and thinks he's a Betta, but I'm working on getting him some buddies

mwahaha. Now, hopefully Maui will turn out to be a good Daddy. I'm not counting on it, though!! I'll post pics once I get them in there.
