Longest living Goldfish?

I have a goldfish thats 10 years old is that normal and can i be a record?

Your gold fish has still to make it to middle aged. 25+ years can be expected for a goldfish.

i wonder what the average age is comapred to the record age... cool that fish can reach that age tho

It looks like the average is about 10-15 years, and 25 isn't uncommon when they're really well-cared for. I've only had mine since April.... But I'm trying to follow the expert advice, so I'll get back with you on this subject in 2014 and let you know how it's going.

well i saw in a book that a few goldfish lived to 75 years old.
