Well should I start with the lone photo hound? This is the only fellow who posed. He is a long finned pepper/ Corydorus paleatus. These babies started trying to T with anything that moved as soon as they were in the tank!

They are in with the albino peppers for now. The new albino's fins have no abnormalities like the others I got last year.

I didn't get any really good shots of the long fin aeneus. Which is too bad because they are swimming madly all over in their new home with the Brochis splendens and sterbai.

These little guys are still very small, even for pandas.

I understand that they will all get "outrageous finnage!" :hyper:

"Manmade" :p  haha Just call me Madam Corystein!

That pepper fellow couldn't care two shakes about Manmade. haha He was after the big mamas as soon as he hit the water!

I have added the long fin albino peppers to the parent's tank. They are So Cute! There are about ten of them. The camera is in the car, but I will see if I can get a snap soon--maybe. The albinos are hard to get good pics of because of the light reflections.

They look like they are doing good, and are very busy plowing their first sand. hehe

I love the long fins. Very nice!
When you get too many... you can send me some...

Congrats on the new cories. They look awesome. Honestly this is the first time I've ever heard of and seen "long fin" cories.

Anyway....love that submarine too. Is that metal?

Thanks! I am still being lazy about getting shots of the fry I just released in the pepper tank. New albino pepper long fins are hatching in the net now.

Well, it looks metal like anyway. It is an Aquarium Products' model of an historical sub: the Royal Navy's Holland No. 1. I got it from drsfosterandsmith.com some time ago on discount and just used it in this new setup. I watch their Clearance decor for buys. They get some very nice heavy drift wood. Eventually I expect it to be planted with more than the few sprigs stuck in now, although it will never look like yours. But that is why the substrate is so deep. Deep substrate is a pain as I feed live black worms, and they will burrow too deep in that sand for the Cories to find.

Here is a shot and some close ups of the long fin albino C. paleatus and some of the newly added fry, who are doing quite well. It is really hard to shoot them on the black substrate, although they look quite stunning I think in person.

Those are beautiful!!
The worms are bigger than they are. :hyper:
The long fins make them look so delicate. I didn't figure the fry would have fins that big yet. Very nice!
Are there long finned trili too? I bet that would be pretty. :good:
