I purchased three zebra's for starter hardy fish for my 10 gallon tank. After a few weeks, one of the larger fish has grown gorgeous longer fins and an almost lyretail fin. Here are some pictures and also a link to a video of the fish. Any information on the fish would be nice, thank you : ) I have done some research on him or her, but I couldn't find how common/rare the long finned ones are?

And here is the video, sorry for the food channel in the background, lol : )

Thank you! I definitely believe that he/she is one of the most beautiful fish that I've seen, and I'm only getting started : ). I'm very new to the hobby of fish keeping, and I can't wait until I get another tank. I just can't believe I haven't kept fish before, they're just so beautiful!

The long fin ones are the more recently bred. There are a number of trops to which this has been done.

I agree, until you've kept them and seen the beauty right there in front of you in 3D, its hard to know how nice they are.
