Long finned female betta`s ??????

er...not necessarily.

they are in a well planted tank and not all males are agressive.
im just quite skeptical...

ok i needed to know 1 way or the other so i put the biggest "long tailed female" in with my largest most agressive betta the same betta that i cant even put in a divided tank he see`s another male he hits the divide that hard you can see the divide moving and bending :S

well they been in the same tank now for around an hour and "she" has smashed his nest up wacked him in the head a few times with her tail he flares and thats it just goes back to building another nest

any other male i wouldnt be 100% convinced as might be scared of her size but this 1`s a complete nutter and is a fair bit bigger and bulkier than her lol :p

i`ll keep a close eye on them see what they get up 2 :hey:

is he chasing "her?" did you check to see if "she" has a white tube on her belly?
white tube on belly?

like a white dot that sticks out (see pic bellow for aprox area) if it is there then yes all 3 do have the white dot / tube
