well i went to LFS and brought 3 long finned female betta`s which i`d never heard off i`m pretty sure they are females although they look like males lol

a lot had the vertical stripes and on many you could see the egg sacks swelling so i`m preety sure they are females but if not i got a few nice looking tailed males anyway :D lol

pics arent that great as rushed to get some pics i`ll add to topic at a later date with better pics :)

1st the yellow  i`v not seen a yellow like this before usually the body`s are very pale but this 1 is a nice golden yellow body the same shade as the fins

 amazing

wow.....never seen them and never heard of them.....but i think thats great! the beauty of a male, the friendlyness of a female....you could trick someone with something like that and say "ya, i have some gay betta's....they get along fine!" lol.

i would just adore a tank full of long tailed betta's that didn't have to be seperated

great pics....the fish look too good for words :kewlpics:

They are awesome! I agree with Steppy104 about they qualities of both in one! I want one! Did you put them in a community tank or are they separate from other fish? I was just wondering if they get nipped. I can't get over how cool they are! They're all so pretty :)

I want 1 or 1000000000! I wonder if it's a hereditary trait or just a mutation... Regardless they are super cool :)

i have them in a tank i`v set up for female betta`s :) seem to be getting along fine :)

i`m not sure about a mutation
at a guess i`d say it was a species as the shop had around 100 in all the same all different colors bit to many and way to many colors i`d guess just to be a mutation lol

Your Very Lucky to find them, they are lovely.

BTW which store was it ??
