in your text type the above statement removing the dots and replacing "path" with the path to the file on a website, webspace or other.

you will end up with something like

[...img]http/www.darkentity.myby.co.uk/tank/31102007/Spotted Climbing Perch_01.jpg[/img]

then remove the dots in the first img tag

So the pic has to be linked rather than uploaded.
