:) Hi Guys,

I seam to have a problem with one of my anglefish, She hides away from all the other fish, not eating, I thought she may have been sick, but this has been ongoing for about 4 weeks, I was told it could be internal parisites so a medicated for this, all of my other fish are fine, happy.

She is very small in size and seems to be intimidated by some of the other fish.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well the angels are in an even number which is reccomended, need to know more about the behaviour of the fish too though, flicking, past disease, introduction to the tank?

Sounds like a nice tank, it could jsut be the behaviour of that individual fish, i have a recluse angel lol

200 liter

4 angelfish
6 platys
1 molly (mate died)
1 guramia
1 pleco

She will come out when I feed them, will sometimes pair up with her mate, these two are alot smaller than the other two.
But tends to spend most of her time alone.

Was introduced with her mate at the same time, probably six weeks ago

Can I give you anymore information?

Had itch but that was five weeks ago, turned heater up and all is fine.

Which medication did you use, and what was the procedure followed?

Once you get past 4-5 angels odd or even numbers does not matter. This probably stems from folks keeping three angels together, an odd number. If you get a pair out of three the single fish left out gets the brunt of aggression from two paired fish. Four or more spreads out the aggression from a pair, as there is less aggression towards any individual fish.
