Local Garden Centre

Just been down our garden centre and asked for this beautiful Betta in a large tank with lots of other fish.Went over to the assistant to ask if he was for sale-Guess what he said---He said he wasn't as it would be too hard to catch----WHAT? Has he heard of a net. I just said---oh ok and went---a little puzzled---wish I had told him to give me the net and I would catch him myself--FOOL is that not his job to catch fish and sell them!!!!!

in my local garden centre the assistants argue over who goes and bags the fish lol.

u will have to go back another day and hope the fish is still there and the assistant isnt lol.

this pet supermarket in watford or something you have to catch your own fish and its okay cause you get to choose the ones you want

If I was you I would have whispered "dumb ass" just loud enough so he could hear it then grab a net, scoop it out and say "see look how easy it is to catch fish, all you have to remember is now we have nets to catch fish and now you don't have to use your mouth anymore".

I like to ask the newest looking assistant to catch one of the algae eaters...thats really good fun to watch! (or are they sucking loaches..long thin things that clean the glass?)

liz when i bought 2 algae eaters even the most experienced assistants couldnt catch them

might have been there display tank, still a sale is a sale prehaps he dont like wet hands....

Thats stupid... Go back and say you'll take your business elsewhere, and whilst your their ask for one khuli loach... a specific one, mind, then remember they prefer groups and say you want him to get you more Now thats entertainment

did that I let him struggle to get the fish and then said (before he got fish,so it didn't stress the fish) that I had forgot my purse----saw steam coming out of his ears
