I am the proud owner of a pack of 6 loaches! SO CUTE!
is this from your experience? or did u hear it for someone? CLOWN LOACHES ARE NOT SHY! infact they are greedy basta*rd they yes indeed go up to the tank they even chase my zebra danios around when there is foodAquaSeaFoam said:THey will eat flakes.. the problem is gettin the flakes to them. If they are too shy to come to the top of the tank to eat they won't get any.
you can feed them snails once a week, more if you like just as long as thats not the staple of their diet.
try tetramin tablets, my biggest loach takes a whole one in his mouth and runs off with it. also give them veggies and lettuce about once a week. try cucumber, brocolli stems, apple, banana... whatever. just make sure you don't leave it in the tank long enough to foul the water.. especially banana- i'd say a few hours tops.
there are lots of frozen foods too- beef heart, blood worms, brineshrimp
Good luck
Not mine. The snail had been in there for nearly 2 weeks and they never even sniffed it.Loach Man said:Clown Loaches are big time snail fans and love to eat them

It took mine a couple months to come to the top for food.kevin007 said:is this from your experience? or did u hear it for someone?
