Loach Forum

No idea if its worth pondering, but i've been finding myself venture away from the forum in search of more information regarding loaches as we dont have a forum dedicated to them (well, we do, but its kinda hidden)

I know the "loach" family isnt all that huge compared to some others, but they are a highly addictive fishy and any posts i discover regarding them tend to be under the Oddball forum and not "Cyprinids, Characins and Atherinids" which i find strange as they are really not oddballs (in my opinion). Plus, if you are kinda new to fish keeping, the title "Cyprinids, Characins and Atherinids" is a little erm..."confusing" unless you are an experienced fish keeper. I suppose you could change the title to make it a little more user friendyl, afterall, your lfs will advertise them as "xxxx Loach". Bleh, anyway, just a vote here for its own section.

They are highly addictive Tizer .....Especially Kuhli Loaches, which really should be an oddball because it looks more like a snake/worm than a "fish-like" loach

Ok... for a change.. i have to say I agree with ColdCazzie.... was a really unessasary comment, almost mod/forum bashing if you want to use the forum, add useful comments.... if not... stay schtum.

I do think a seperate/renamed forum would be a much better way to go for the reasons already mentioned

Its a public forum. I don't think it will happen. Let's hope the mods, admin and owner prove me wrong.

Also, the majority of your comment was nothing to do with what tizer said... Difference? Maybe there is more than just me that should keep schtum...

While the activity of that section doesn't justify a separate forum at this time it was decided to switch the description so loachs appears first. Section activity is something that is monitored by the Moderating Team, if future activity justifies it a separate forum or subform is created.

We should scrap all the forum names we have now and change them to "Big pretty fishies" "big ugly fishies" "Medium pretty fishies" "medium ugly fishies" "Small pretty fishies" "small ugly fishies" and "fishies with whiskers on their face" to make the forums more new user friendly
