Just wondering what live food you feed your fish and how often?

I've only really done it a few times as tbh cant afford to keep trecking down the the LFS.

Have notice that some of you hatch your own stuff and feed it, is it fairly simple?

I (will) have a 260l set up and want to ensure that everything about it is done as best I can including feeding the fish a varied diet so:

1) What live food should I go for and how often?
2) What veg should I go for and how often?

Many Thanks

Vicki

well if your looking to feed the fish in your sig, guppies could be the way to go. As you prob know... they are super easy to breed and if gut loaded with nutritious food, then they will be excellent treats for your fish. I would still feed an engineered flake/pellets food, but this will add extra excitement, especially for the angels.

For veggies, peas work good for my cichlids and dithers, lettuce and cucumbers are good for plecs. I have heard of them going nuts for banana's too... I know sounds weird...
