the gravid spot is an indication that a female is due to give birth however it is not all ways accurate most Livebearers show a gravid spot and many will not show any sign of a gravid spot

10 minutes after taken photo this fish had 55 fry almost as big as the endler as you can see no gravid spot.

what do i feed fry at one week old? when to stop feeding mushed fish food?
