Maybe instead of having the subforums as rare and common livebearers, break more into the subspecies-platy/swordtail, guppy, mollie, endler's, and other. Just might help create a little more organization when it comes to how broad the livebearers section can become.

Thanks.

I'm not certain that's really necessary given that the care requirements and FAQs for the "common" livebearers are not really very different, with the exception of mollies doing best in brackish water. Rare livebearers not only have unique maintenance issues, but also have unique problems in terms of acquisition and breeding.

I agree that splitting the common subforum wouldn't result in any traffic reduction, but I'm not certain that I see the precise organizational benefit to the split.

I know but I specialize many in swordtails and platies and when everything is mixed, its hard to tell what is what at first.

You can use the search function to search the Livebearer's forum for posts that contain "swordtail" or "platy" if that is all you are interested in.
