Live Rock

over time i have cured over 600 lb. of live rock and it is realy easy i use a 55 gal trash can (new of course) and put a heater and a power head in for water move ment the water in the can is going to get a ammonia spike of the chart poportions lol i do 100% water changes every weekvia drain plug in bottom of can when amonnia is at 0 than you can add to tank .....i have meantioned this is another thread but a cool trick to do to make sure that you dont get any mantis shrimp or other pest mix a salt water mix of1.030 to 1.040 and put the rock in the water for no more than a min. all the rockes inhabants will jump out of the rogk and you can then sort them out ..hard to belive i know but i first learned this from dr. foster smith and they in my opinon are the best around if any one wont to see the artical it is on www.liveaquaria.com go to live rock and then go to acclumatting guide hope this is helpful......... :D

I agree with you there. Drs. Foster and Smith is definitely one of the best places to go for online fish supplies.

Here's a link, if you want to check it out: Drs. Foster and Smith

Did you know that they have supplies for dogs, cats, birds, and other pets too?

Sorry about the sarcasm, macpegg. :dunno:
