Well I took your advice and went to Heritage Aquatics this afternoon and thanks very much for the recommendation.

The stock was fantastic, the shark in the live rock pool was amazing and the 16 - 17 year old that I spoke to was VERY knowledgeable* and I will 100% be buying my liverock / stock there when the time comes. It's the middle of nowhere but a first rate shop once you've found it.

*don't mean that to sound patronising, I was just impressed by his knowledge and that the advice he gave was GOOD advice rather than sell more stuff advice.

They are currently expanding so should be even better before long, I know on the weekend begining 3rd december they are having a special discount day so might pay you to get your liverock on that wkend if you are ready.

World of fishes is excellent aswell in East Grinstead if you ever over that way, as is STM in sevonaks

I got a lift out there and although we did take a couple of wrong turnings we found it in the end, it's certainly well hidden! I'm public transport bound for most of the time, so the plan will be to bus it there and then give careful directions to a cab driver to pick me up when I make any purchases. Heritage is perfect for that as it's only 5/10 minutes in the car on the way home.
