I woke up this morning to see little white specks on my bog wood, maybe 50-75 of them and about 3 per centimeter for about 30 cm of the rock line on the glass.
They are white, and not easily scraped off, they are flat on the glass and slightly rounded on the other side, they are about 1mm diameter.
Any idea of what they could be?

I have german rams, shirmp, serpea tetras, kuhli loach, cardnals, harliquins and two zebra snails.

is there anyone hanging around them?

i think someone would be protecting them if they were eggs?

could be wrong tho, some fish may leave there eggs. i kno if they get too disturbed or arent happy with the way the whole things goin then some fish can give up taking care of there eggs.

would it not just be safer to remove into a hospital tank etc?

They are imposible to remove without a razor. They are on the bog wood mostly too.

Nothing seems to be hanging around, and nothing seems to be trying to eat them.

Let us know what happens. Tetra eggs are slightly sticky and round, but I don't think they would be so sticky as to be difficult to remove. The rams have sticky eggs that they lay on a surface, usually hidden in a cave is possible, but I would expect them to be guarding them or eating them if they were theirs. Kuhli loaches have greenish eggs.
I am not familiar with zebra snails. Pond snails normally found in aquariums on plants, have clear eggs layed on any submerged surface. Apple snails lay bunches of sticky eggs above the water line.

EDIT: I just noticed that you originally posted three days ago! The tetras or the rams eggs would have already hatched, snails take a few weeks...I'm not sure about the hatch time of the kuhlis. There is a possibility that it was the rams and they have abandoned them. If they are not viable, they will fungus and you'll see furry stuff growing on them, most likely white.

they actually might be snails, i have them in my tank, not that many though, i cant remember the name of them but im sure someone on here can tell you.
have they got brownish insides?

They are still there, dont apear to have moved at all, and dont apear to have any brown to them, they are all white, but if I really look it does kinda look like there might be a "shell" on them.

Looking at the underside and back of my bog wood there is probably 200 or so, and they all apear over night.

I dont know what they are, they still haven moved changed color or became easier to get off.

Any ideas?

Lymphet eggs it is. Just found them in my tank as well. Grrrrr :grr: They were almost in a line, apparently the mother lymphet has been laying eggs while it travelled along the glass.

hiya
now i'm going to make myself sound completely thick now lol
but i thought lymphets were them things that were stuck to rocks at the beach or can there be fresh water 1s as well.
but whatever they are they sound very much like what i have in my cory fry tank, did wonder as there is no snails or lymphet looking things in there thou lol   :D :D :look: :look:

so after googling limpets and coming up with not much I would say the shape is similar to a limpet, but tiny, as i said like 1mm across.
and there are like 200 of them or more.

They have not moved (enough to notice) and I can not see any movement at all.

Where would all these have come from? you would think I would notice something large enough to lay 200+ eggs that are 1mm across.

and all I have are the zebra snails.
