hi quite unexpectidly my sajicas have spawned

just noticed them. my first ever babies from non-livebearing fish! :D there is probably 20-30 of them

mum and dad seem to be doing a good job-keep putting them back in to the flowerpot for protection

question is what can i feed them- baby brine shrimp would be good but cant get them for a least a couple of days. will there be some foot in the gravel for them to eat? will the female spit out food for them?

Maybe you can grind up some flaked fishfood, that would be small enough for them to eat.

thanks-the parents are doing a great job-any that stray are picked up in mouth and spat neer the entrance of the pot. i love sajicas! ive got some baby food for livebearers ill give that a try.
ill be watching them all day! :wub:
 
they have just moves the babys behind a bit of bogwood-i cant see them anymore :-( this is probably good thing though-moving them around to stop infection-go mum+dad!
