Also anything by marineland/penguin is junk. They break after a year at most and are un repairable.

Eheim 2224 X2 9.5/10 very quite and very easy to maintain/setup

Eheim Ecco 2236 - 9 (fantastic value for money, great sturdy piece of kit and good filtration)
Eheim Ecco 2232 - 8 (does an impecible job on my Puffer tanks.)
Eheim Power Ball - 6 (great water mover, but gets clogged quickly just using one filter pad) was bought purely for water movement though
