ok, ive had a swap about - again lol

a local shop to me needed to move on two large lionfish, which just so happen to be my fave fish ever :)
ive already got one in a large 40x24x15 tank with a red toothed trigger.

So, my plan is to put the 2 new large lions in the existing setup and move the corals from that tank to my reef until i move and can start the coral tank properly.

so, once im home with them tomorrow i shall put some pics up :) im excited to get some big lions back again!

i would love to see the pictures i think
there a great fish too. a friend of mine
used to keep them i used to look after them when he used
to go on Holiday he used to feed them live food
other wise they wouldn't eat i fooled them in to eating
with a piece of nylon line and a prawn

I am so looking forward to getting the fish I have always wanted

can;t wait for pics mate!!

Im very excited!

used to have 3 large foot long ones in a 7ft tank with a panther grouper and some large domino damsels :)
they were the best fish to watch ever :)

im just a bit annoyed i dont have a taller tank at the moment. 15 inches is ok but id like them to move into a tank at least 24inches high in a few months :)
oooh, imagine, a tank 40x24x24 :D that would be nice!

im leaving to go pick them up in an hour :)
ill get lots of pics of the shop too :)

Hey guys,

ok im back :)

some bad news though :( one of the lions had died 2 days ago, apparently it had eaten a dead hawkfish in its tank and choked :(

so, i got 1 anyways, its a beauty! :)

still settling in so dont have many pics yet but heres a couple :)

look at the size compared to my existing one!!!

just put some lancefish in for him and cut it down to be small enough for him, but too big for the other one to steal first
the little one only went and bloody ate it first! it was huge! stupid fish lol!

i used to feed raw shrimp and prawns
i have seen the take muscles before to day

lovely fish

I so want one!! lol

Saw a documentary a few days ago that featured these and I really want one now as well. What size tank would you say is best for one? Or do they do best in groups?

Yours look amazing!
