Lights Not Working

i bought a new t18 15 watt bulb for my tank,i ve just tried it but it flickers,and is very dim,then goes off ,wud i be entitled to take this back ,if i box it like new,as it was,and get a swap or money back,i have the receipt,do u think i could get a swap,or cash back

there is no starter

there is no starter,just a circuit board,the new bulb just flickers, ant 1 know where u can but a hood for a tetra aqua art 60l, im looking for 1

Just replied to your other post. If there's a circuit board maybe there's a loose contact that needs soldering? My response would be to hit it, but that'll scare the fish

its driving me mad, i dont know what to do now. whether to buy new tank, or try get a new hood for my tank, i will have a mess around with circuit board if all else fails.

I wouldn't buy a new tank yet if it's just the light x got any electrician mates that will have a look at it in exchange for a pint??

me dads gona have a poke at it later ,theres only really a circuit board,the light is very close to coming on,just flickering very bright,then goes off ,ill see if he gets workn if nobdy else can , ill have to think of something,thanks for reply.
