Hi guys first post on here and im looking for some help. i have a juwel aquarium the rio 240 that i use for my comunity set up . the only problem i hae with the tank is the lighting which seems to be to bright or the wrong spectrum of light as it seems to drain the colour from the fish.
I have two speces of Rainbows in there, dwarf gouarmi's, columbian tetra's, clown loaches, 4 small angels along with two plecs. all my fish when bought were showing great colours and when the tank light if turned off and the tank just has natural light they look amazing, but soon as the light goes on they dont look half as good.
My only problem is that Juwel seem to make their aquariums to none standard sizes and i cant find any bulbs that enhance colour of your fish to fit the juwel, Does any one know if u can get bulbs to fit the tank that will bring out the colours as i realy dont want to start a diy project on the lid of my tank lol
Any help would be great Thanks
