I am setting my 75g again, this time as a pleco breeder.
I plan to add some pogostemon "octopus" in it.
The lighting would be an old Satellite Plus Pro LED.
Since this light is customizable I was wondering what setting I should set it to.
The colours are: RGB, and 6500K white.
I am looking for gooding lighting to promote biofilm, keep pogostemon "octopus", and an ideal environment for Bristlenose Plecos.
Any ideas on what I should do., assuming different modes can affect the tank?

Most not too expensive lights, the white LEDs are often made by combining a blue LED with a phosphor coating. This design naturally results in a stronger emission in the blue part of the spectrum. It will be good to promote algae as much as you want.

There's 2 main kind of biofilm, some that is photosynthetic other not, That are primarily bacteria and don't need any light to live.

In an ideal setup both will be present in diverse area of the tank. There's a good product called Bacter AE that is used to promote biofilm creation.
