Ive got 6 in my marine display. (Not including 2 extra plugs for the heater and powerhead in the tank that holds feeder shrimp/fish).

2 for lights
2 for 2 eheim externals
1 for the heater
1 for the internal powerhead.

I have 20 plugs on my big tank! Only 4 though on the nano.

Wife pays the electric bill (thank god)

But between my ponds and tanks there isn't much of a surge in the electric. Now when the AC gets kicked on - OUCH!

acctually I thought the same thing when I set up my big tank, but really, most of the plugs dont take that much juice at all. which is why it would be nice if someone would make a 3 or 4 powerhead set that had one plug.
