Lighting Upgrades

I'm going to look at transferring my 2 x 55w PC's into my reef tank, at 40UK Gallons this should give me 200w in total so I'm looking at 5wpg - one of the steps complete to get some hard corals in there...

So I have two options in PC tubes which are:

2 x Interpet Daylight/Blue which are actinic spectrum + 6500k daylights (£16.99 each)

or

1 x Arcadia Marine 420nm actinic blue (£24.99) and 1 x Arcadia 14000k marine white (£24.99)

Anyone have experience of either?

If you like the current hue of your tank, stick with the second option. The 6500k will whiten/green/lighten it up and you'll loose some of that blue

Yea like the hue and dont want it to change... Guess that makes the decision.

What about introducing the extra light, is it worth going for an hour a day for the first few then slowly increasing it?
