Lighting Ornaments

Hopefully Ill be going to my favorite pet stor tomorrow and I saw this ornament last time....

Its suppost to light up. Can someone tell me how it works. Does it come with everything or do you have to buy it and then by something else seperate to make it work?

the windows appear to have LED's or optic fibre in them, which light up, and the chimheys (?) have optic fibre, itll just plug in and work.

Definately fibre optic (look at the chimneys) I would imagine it ran off a regualr 24v - like your filter

So where would I plug it into?

It will be a sealed united, then i imagine you would either plug it in your wall socket, or it may run off batteries.

Thanks, Hopefully they still have it. And I wonder, would you think the lights would show when the aquarium light is on?

they would still show but i guess only if you look hard enough, it will look good though when the lights are off.

Ok, I went to my petstore and got one. And thanks for helping. I have a question.

It turns different colors. I put it in the tank and it turned all the colors. Then after awhile, it would turn all the colors but when it got to green it would stop and not turn at all, then it would got back to just turning the other colors.

What happened for it not to turn green but it will turn all the rest of the colors?

And what Can I do to solve it

its just the way its programmed, nothing you can do im afraid

Crap.... So its program is to start off with all the colors including green and then stop turning green but still turn the other colors?
