Lighting for shadows

I am interested in replacing my flouescent strip with with 3 individual round bulbs such as the kind found in reptile tanks. I want to be able to move these around as needed for the plants and to create shadows. Does anyone make round type bulbs that would be good for the plants that would fit in one of these reptile bulb holders. The tank is a a 55 gallon, heavily planted.

I know what you want to create but for a heavy planted tank, I cant see how it could work.

cant you just move more dence plant closer to create a shadow or do you want the hard edge shadows like those of a tree in the window at night?

I figured it would be much easier to move the lights around than to move the plants.
