Lighting For Corner Tank

Thanks for pic, does the heat those things give out effect the black hood flaps at all?

No, the hood copes with it fine. Gets a bit warm but thats all.

Thats settled it then, will be getting double 36W PC unit, one in front and one in back.

I may bodge a reflector on each too and mount it a few mm away from hood, will help with light output and help prevent potential warping in months to come.

Probably a silly question, but does the tank look much brighter now? B)

Reason I ask is the trigon aint half deep and adding refelctors to the existing crap lighting didnt seem to make a lot of difference.

Mine looked a lot brighter. It was a Vision 260 so about the same depth as the Trigon.
