Fish Addict
Another RTC worth seeing is the one at Kew Gardens. It & a 4' tiger shovelnose share an indoor pool with (seems like) thousands of gold CAEs & huge guppies and they swim about under giant Amazonian water lilies.
The pool is in the Princess of Wales Conservatory.
I would own a RTC if they grew to a manageable size - say up to two feet - as a 10x4x4 tank is within my means but there is no way I would keep a fish I couldn't provide a proper home for.
I see a lot of stunted specimens and every week there are adverts offering smallish specimens that have outgrown their tanks - why are their owners surprised?
