does it matter which kind of lighting...or is there a best option whether it be flourescent or incondescant...could i just pick up a flourescent fixture up at a local hardware store for my planted tanks?

any input would be helpfull

lighting is one of the key components for a healthy planted tank...

What are you trying to grow?
Ideally we'd need to know what your tank size is (volume and dimensions).

Incandessants are a no-no as they offer compleatly the wrong spectrum for plants. they will just promote algae growth.

Hygrophila polysperma, Hygrophila corymbosa, Ludwigia repens, Wisteria

im getting a 15 Gal long 24x12x12 i think that will be strictly used for plants
i also have those plants i listed in my 10 gal, 20 gal, and 45 gals

10 gal 20x10x12
20 gal 24x?
45 gal 36x18x16

and on that note I'll hand you over to someone else that knows their plants :)

sorry.

Those plants you listed are generally very undemanding light wise, and will grow in most setups. As Smithrc says fluorescent is much better than incandescent lighting, and if you can, try and get light bulbs that are designed to promote plant growth. The plants would probably grow under any kind of light but if you're not going to have very much light, best to give them a decent quality light. Most LFS should have some plant bulbs. The pinned lighting article has a list of good ones.
