My tank currently has 2*14W TRITON tubes which are suitable for marine and coral growth, i would like to add a 36W T5 Daylight Blue + reflector would this be ok?, I cant afford halides etc so tubes are the route for me (PC T5's), tank dimensions are 50l*50w*60h (cm). Any advice on this please, the tank is not running it's still in the getting ready stage. I plan to keep corals mainly softies etc, all advice welcomed, would I require 2*36W? or maybe one 36w and a 24W.

If you can go with dual 36 watters your corals will be happierer :D

Luckily I have ordered the 2*36W starter and 1 daylight blue (white plus actinic) and 1 daylight plus tube, my only concern is the length maybe a little tight, sweating on that one

If they do go in smoothly I maybe able to squeeze another 36W if need be, otherwise im starting to think this tank was not such a great bargain. :(
