if you have a t8 one why not convert to t5, or I could convert it for you?

i dont have a t8 :)

i dont have any lighting whatsoever

I have a lightbar which is led with blue and White lights in it (made by beamswork) very handy and extendable bars so rests on top of anything. Was £36 new if you'd like it posted for £40 or make me an offer :)

Whereabouts do you live?

Is this for a tropical tank? If so, I am more than happy to sell the light unit in this ad for £45 inlusive of P&P. Just be aware you would need to think about new bulbs as they are at least 12 months old.

Let me know

Martin

katdis i live in blackburn so not far from you, have you got any pics of your light unit? Im not sure about the blue LED's they sound more for marine.

Martin, yes i saw that but didnt think it would fit my tank.
£45 seems a bit steep when the price for the whole thing is only £60 in your ad!! And with new bulbs on top..

And Khuli yes i have looked at making my own but its too much effort!!

It will fit tanks from 24" to 40" as it is extendable, and you have to appreciate that the cost to post would be at least £10, so am only asking £35 for it if you could collect.
The price for tank and cabinet is also collected.

How long is the actual light unit though?

Still, £45 is rather expensive
, seeing as you are in surrey and so wouldnt be able to collect!! haha

The main body is about 23" long, so probably no good for a 36" tank and you would end up with dark ends.

I was only trying to help, I don't think £35 for it is asking too much, it's just unfortunate that you'd need it posting.

yeah thats the problem with extendable lioght units :)

and dont take my responses the wrong way, i appreciate the thought youve shown but £45 is just too much :/

Sorry for my delay in replying, do you have an email address I could sent you a picture to? I have two I these bars, one on a trigon 190 and one on a 2x1 foot, it works very well on both to be honest :)

hello, looking at the pictures it doesnt seem to light the whole tank properly (i.e. there is patches of lighter and darker and i need it to be all the same. sorry, am going to go with a new one from APS :) thankyou anyway!
