I thought I'd share with you what I did to fix my lid problem after fish jumping out of my tank.

I prefer having no lid at all, Because it looks nice. However, I did the next best thing.

I got a custom made plastic sheet, Cut to size of my tank. Laid it ontop and when the mist fades it looks like it's not even there, No fish will make it past the gaps in it because they aren't any :p

So if anyone wants a lid, I suggest going for this instead! It turned out cheaper than a lid too :p

Does it not get condensation on it?

Glad you've found a solution you're happy with.

It did go foggy to start with but its cleared now, Am sure water will form on it and then drop back into the tank but should be fine.

Not so good for floating plants (although not the end of the world), but better than jumping fish, and after a lot of pondering and research, go for cell cast acrylic, as the other stuff bends under the heat of the lights.

I don't like floating plants and will never have them so no issue there.

It's pretty much supported all the way with the clearseal sides inside the tank. Am hoping it wont bend but it seems pretty hard stuff, It's ment to be able to withstand sunlight at a high temp.

To be honest, looking at that set up, you'd know by now if it was going to bend. If you get any very slight bending at the corners then just flip it over at water change and let it slowly bend back straight.

I've used acrylic sheets as a condensation sheet/fish jump stopper for the entire duration I have owned a fish tank. 4mm stuff from B&Q, never had a warp yet.
