Lfs's In Nottingham Please :)

I am based in lenton whilst at uni and even if I can't neccesarily buy any fish I still like to go and have a nosey every now n then. Obviously I know about the MA's around here, but don't know about any independant and smaller fish shops so if people could tell me what's in the area I'd appreciate it.

One name jumps out when you say Nottingham....Wharf Aquatics.

Not sure how far it is from Lenton though, but its a worth a trip for any fishkeeper.

Lol, I had heard of wharf aquatics but I forgot it was so big! It is a bit of a way out... around 30mins from lenton However I may see if I can convince the other half

We were down at castle marina the other day and popped into pets at home just to browse. He's been really busy with work so was all like 'I'll buy you a tank if you want'

I said I couldn't justify another one but after we looked at the fish (They had a massive filter malfunction which resulted in a massive whitespot outbreak), he felt really sorry for them and said he really wanted to get me some fish cause he sees how healthy my fish are.
Anyways... makes me think I might be able to convince him to take me to wharf.

I got my GBRs from Wharf Aquatics last weekend. Amazing place, could spend a LOT of time in there and spend even MORE money!

I don't have a whole lot of tank space free for more fish tbh. I was meant to be getting some blue tiger shrimp and some snowball shrimp but with the current weather it's looking unlikely I'll get them until spring!

So I'm debating asking for a refund and picking some fish instead.

GBR's would go very very nicely with my group of sterbai....

Lenton is south west of the city centre, but not that far from the city centre.

I went to MA at the garden centre to the south which I think is west bridgeford. It was ok I guess... I do like how the tanks are set up and overall it looked like decent stock and reasonable prices.

I'm in Hucknall and whilst i'm currently breeding all my own fish i still do go into the LFS's to nose
