LFS'

little brats banging on the tanks :(

u think thats bad

one kid took a fish out of the tank and sed "mommy i want this one for dinner"

Workers chasing a fish around the tank with a net to try to catch him. I mean, sure some types of fish are fast swimmings, but they're just going to be floaters if they keep getting chased.

I hate it when the staff treat me like i don't know a thing about fish. They tell me the most basic thing a million times each time I go.

The worst part was probably seeing one of the employees being scolded by a mother:

I was in large Fish Store a couple weeks ago. One of customer's kids had their arm (up to their elbow) in one of the tanks on the bottom shelf. She was trying to "catch" a fish. The employee told the kid that she wasn't allowed to do that, and the mom actually told the employee that her child wasn't hurting anything. As if that wasn't bad enough, a manager was brought over and actually sided with the customer.

I'd tell the mother that there's a nice big piranha tank he could stick his hands in. "Just keep the fish busy until I feed them because they haven't been fed for about a week. Thanks."

You know, that's exactly what my husband, the clerk and I were joking about. I was like - if she's so into dipping her arms and hands into tanks, let's go show her some pirahna. ;)

It's either that or they get accused of being incompetent dummies. :p

The most annoying thing would be the kids who bang on the glass or the people who ignore advice given to them because they think they know better than you or the employees.

OOH! I got another one! :p

How about those dorks that walk up to the fish tanks in hopes of being funny and say "FISHY FISHY FISHY" mimicking the guy from Duece Bigalow? ;)

Oh wait. That's me. :p (No, I don't tap on the glass...)

i't being accused of not knowing anything and when i correct them, they tell me my information is wrong

for me its trying to keep my daughter from being one of the brats banging on the glass and sticking her hands in the tank. she gets so excited its hard to control her and do my shopping. Also when you see employees selling fish too a customer that you know is either putting the fish in too small a tank or mixing fish that shouldnt be. I even saw one employee sell a couple with a new tank about 16 fish.

Aw, I hate that crap too, and the worst part is when they get it is like half dead :X . Then you tell the employee to change it and they get all anal and just say it's fine, but change it anyways. .
