today when i was going to check out a new lfs i had just found out about i saw an tank with 5inch tiger oscars and prolly a 6-7inch GT wouldnt these fish fight all the time?? oh yeah the tank was an 150 gallon tank (US)

No that tank would be fine for them.Especially at that size.If they have sufficient hiding/terretories they won't fight but just defend.

Depends on how many oscars - in that sized tank you could get away with two and the GT but no more than that. Saying that, all cichlids are different, and what works for some wont work for others.

I agree, it depends on each individual fish's personality. Some are less aggressive while some are more aggressive. Sometiems that can mess up a plan

A different Oscar and GT and this may have worked great but these particular two didn't work out well.

Ive got an oscar, JD, and GT in a 90 gallon and everything is going good so far no fin nipping, just a spat here and there and of course a good lfs that will allow me to rehome any of them if nessesary.
