Lfs Visit Today

Hi, I was going to post a poll this morning with various stocking options for my Fluval Roma240 . . .
On my way home today popped into LFS (sort of local) with baited breath and fingers crossed, sure enough there was 6 of these in a small tank so home they come with me . . .
I had sourced 8 at another place but been hesitating about going through for them but couldn't pass the chance of finding some of these local. I had 6 a while back and got really hooked on Tangs soon after. These ones are still a bit "white" looking, the ones I had before were "silvery". Wondering if I should phone to see if the other place still has the 8

You did say you were thinking of getting multies again. You'll be glad you did, I love mine; feisty little critters!

Going to add more shells and took the lava rock that was boxed up in the shed, boiled up so will add that soon. They came with a coupls of shells, took the shells from the bucket of water I had them in, looked in the tank and there is a seventh Multi, it's tiny so not bad there then . . . I have sourced 8 from another LFS but think I'll leave them there

Seems quite ironic that you`re buying the multis in and I`ll be taking mine to MA tomorrow Yours look as thought they`re quite young, especially as they look so light in colour, they`re really lovely and at least you should have them for a long time due to their age

Took these quick snaps last night, water a bit murky due to substrate getting disturbed, not an amazing "scape" but will do for now till I order up more shells. They seem more settled in now, little red stripes appearing now, been out and about swimming and exporing, feeding well

If we were in reasonable travelling distance I would be happy to take a whole bunch of fry and even some punk fry, got loads of cyps I could have swapped

Looks like 2 or 3 adults/sub adults and the rest juvies, 1 really small one, I bought 6 way back from Wildwoods and they were really small, grew into 6 males
Hoping with these ones to grow them on and fingers crossed get a wee colony going, had a few stock ideas but would be nice to see them as a colony to really appreciate them, still in two minds about going to the other LFS for there ones to add ?
