When I bought a pakistan loach, the first one that was baggd up, you could see the red part of its gills as there was no cover. the other was dead upside down and the last had a lump of its head/mouth missing. I went there just after they had the order in, they were released from the bag so there was 1 dead, 1 dying and my one looked fine, till I got home to find it swimming and scratching itself of the gravel & shaking & extremely fast breathing.
