Lfs Needs Reality Check.

Recommend any fish shops around Gloucester Stu? Not much to pick from around here and wouldn't mind looking around a new place :)

Are you in Hereford or near?

Yeah i'm in Hereford, wouldn't mind a drive to Gloucester though.

you got your reply in before my edit

That Aquajardin Gloucester looks decent with 111 different tropical tanks.

sometimes these kinds of fish increase in price at this time of yeah as the catching seasons close and they become harder to get hold of. Up until a few years ago there would be certain times of the year where you wouldn't see Cardinals due to the breeding seasons. This was when most were wild caught. Some still are, but most are imported from tank bread specimens. This for me is a shame, as in a few years we'll be treating Cards like Neons.

I haven't seen any Pandas for ages. Though that price is a bit steep imo.

Yup seems like one expensive shop. I'd get a pair of Agazizi for that and change. Pandas around £3 each.

It is prime fish tank season now, summer ending and people starting to spend more time indoors. Not suprised that some shops hike the prices. Vote with your feet and find a better one or consider some of the trusted mail order fish suppliers.

Already came to the same conclusion, wasn't buying, just looking. Those prices made sure my wallet stayed in the pocket. Those Fire reds did look excellent though.......
