Lettuce for catching pond snails in an aquarium... oops... catching more Armano Shrimp than snails

Funny thing is, this is one of the tanks that I’m “over feeding” as I have young king tiger pleco’s in this tank, that I’m trying to make sure they get enough to eat… the shrimp really go after the food, they are not starving, to where they are forced to eat Java ferns

Well this tank is only a few weeks old ,our other tank sprung a leak and we had to change.
Wondering due to swapping everything over and renewing stuff it stifled the the little darlings food chain somewhat.
We have java fern also getting a little bit paranoid about our shrimp .

I’m going to start calling my shrimp “artwork Java Ferns” poor man’s Madagascar lace
