I believe the requirements were ELECTRICAL appliances
I would KILL for a dishwasher! The stove gets the most use..followed by slow cooker, especially in the winter. Always have a pot of stew or curry going.
as fir most useless, probably the blender. I never use the thing and takes up so much counter space!

Being a college student in a cheap crapy apartment the microwave is the most used appliance. My most cherished one is the $60 stainless steel pizza oven I bought when I moved out. Its basically just a large glorified preset toaster oven. Mainly because we are too impatient and cheap to turn on the oven unless we have to. Pizaa oven can cook lots of things really fast, then there are some things it can't cook at all and just burns the outside leaving the inside frozen

I also don't have a dishwash

Other than the fridge, definitely the kettle for me! I use the blender pretty often aswell.
