Let’s get creative here, let’s name a fish/es you would like to keep but can’t or shouldn’t the reason “x”

I would like to keep ___(fish here)___ because ___(this is why I want)___ but I can’t or shouldn’t because ___(this is why I can’t)___

I’ll start.

I would love to keep a red tailed shark because I absolutely love how when they’re nicely coloured up, they absolutely gorgeous fish to look at. That black body and the red tail when they’re all grown up and they look like a carp on steroids that had a special visit to a custom paint shop!! But I can’t/shouldn’t because I know they can have aggression issues and I don’t have the space or budget to keep a big enough tank to keep one and I’m not terribly sold so far on tankmates that I’ve seen them with.

I would like to keep an Oscar because they have tons of personality and I love them. But I can’t because I don’t have room for one and also because my parents won’t let me get that big of a tank. Some day...

Oh i love the red tail shark.

I think mine is quite boring but most fish I've wanted I managed to get.

I would like to keep a Betta because of the personality they display & their pretty fins but I can’t or shouldn’t because they need to be kept alone & I want too many other fish to dedicate one tank to one fish.

I would like to keep a range of other fish that need softer water & lower ph because they are beautiful but I can’t or shouldn’t because my water hardness is 250ppm & ph 8.1.

I would love those big plecos, like L200 or royal plecs, but I have no space. I would need another 240L or so tank.

I would love to keep Dojo Loaches because I think they are adorable and have an awesome personality, but I can’t because they are illegal because they have the possibility of becoming a envasive species because the water here is similar to where there natural habitat. If I move to the south I would definitely keep them though

I would love to keep a Fahaka pufferfish because they have great personalities and they look so amazingly hilarious but I can't because I don't have a tank big enough.

I would love to keep discus because they are like floating paintings but I can't or shouldn't because I'm lazy and would never have it in me to do frequent water changes and they would probably just die

I would love to keep mystery snails again because I think they are fun to watch, but I can't because my new house has copper pipes.
