Resurrecting the Passion of Fishkeeping
I thought it was a good idea to meet those on this thread who keep axolotls.
It is a very small sub-sect of aquatic amphibians and it would be great to have a list of those who do keep them so we can help new members who come along and are interested!
Please post your stock, how long you have had them, the area you are from, if you have bred...etc.
Pictures are wonderful too!
Here are my current two - a female wildtype and a male golden albino
I have had the wildtype under 1 year and the golden albino for under a month.
I am from the USA, Rhode Island.
I have not yet bred...keyword is "yet" - hopefully!!!
Here is the Wildtype female named "Reese" (You can tell she is not a melanoid due to the shiny iris (circle around the pupil) )
Here is my Golden Albino male named "Butters"
And this is the young Leucistic named "Jellybean" that I had owned in the past.
I hopefully will be getting an albino axolotl
